authoring", have also had some experience in dealing with hosting services.
After all, most people who do markup; probably upload their code to
some host, somewhere.
He may also value their opinion; since he may also feel that these same
people are of above average intelligence; and above average education.
....He *might* very well be mistaken. He certainly failed to take into
account the snottiness, and elitist attitude; that far too many here have.
