Well, as the subject says....
Briefly, when I try to run *any* wizard, I get a simple dialog, stating
"Permission Denied", to which I can only click "OK".
I suspect this is a windows (XP) problem rather than an actual Access
one, as the error only occurs in my power user (and any other) account.
It goes away if I am logged on (to windows) as Administrator.
Full Permission for Everyone is set on the drive and folder(s)
containing Access, however, I keep my application files on a seperate
drive to the OS. Any secret little folders/files, etc on the OS drive I
should know about that would impact this error?
Going mad here. TIA.

If I recall correctly, you must install Access separately for each user.

I have not gotten around to installing Office XP
on a WinXP machine, so cannot test here
so.....
if you do not mind trying a "wild hunch"
-Go into Control Panel
-Click on Administrative Tools
-Click on Local Security Settings
-Expand Local Policies
-Click on Security Options
-Scroll down the list in right frame
until reach Network Access: Sharing and
Security for local accounts
-Right-mouse click on it and choose Properties
-change from
local users authenticate as guests
to
local users authenticate as themselves
-reboot
Again....this is a wild hunch!
