Hello David,

http:// www .gtalbot.org / BrowserBugsSection / MSIE7Bugs /
我没有看到IE7(build 5730.11)。

我没看到IE7(build 5730.11)。
Windows XP Home Edition 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
Windows
Office 97
Internet Explorer: -
25.9%

< span style =" white-space:pre;"> -25.9%< / span>
或
< span style =" ; white-space:nowrap;"> -25.9%< / span>

The page is my home page at <http://www.rossde.com/>.
With IE 7, the quote "You''re Pre-Approved ..." appears below the
"Statistics" box. With a Mozilla-based browser, the quote is to the
left of the box (where I want and expect it).
Also with IE 7, the "-25.9%" for change in the IE share of market shows
with the minus sign at the end of a line and the "25.9%" (without minus)
at the beginning of a new line. With a Mozilla-based browser, the minus
stays with the "25.9%".

I don''t see that with IE7 (build 5730.11).
I have the following:
Windows XP Home Edition 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600
800x600 screen, 32-bit true colors
Windows taskbar always displayed at bottom
Office 97 toolbar always displayed at right
With a maximized window and the Office 97 toolbar hidden, IE7 has the
item "Change in browser market share for Internet Explorer since March
2003: -25.9%" split into three lines:
Change in browser market share for
Internet Explorer since March 2003: -
25.9%
With a "normal" window, the minus sign eventually moves to make "-25%"
as I gradually make the window more and more narrow. As I further
make it more narrow, the text breaks into four lines, with "2003:
-25.9%" remaining together. As I make it yet even more narrow, the text
breaks into five lines with the minus sign again separated from "25.9%".
The five-line pattern can also be reproduced at six and seven lines
with the window quite narrow.

800x600 screen,Ok. You have a smaller res. than me.
David, the build number of IE7 is in Help/About Internet Explorer
Version: 7.0.5730.11
I now see the line-wrapping that leaves the - at the end of the line
when I resize the browser window.
With a maximized window and the Office 97 toolbar hidden, IE7 has the
item "Change in browser market share for Internet Explorer since March
2003: -25.9%" split into three lines:
Change in browser market share for
Internet Explorer since March 2003: -
25.9%
Yes, when I resize the window, then I can see that.
You can do:
<span style="white-space: pre;">-25.9%</span>
or
<span style="white-space: nowrap;">-25.9%</span>
