I''ve found out in Access''s help that there is a Scrolling Text Control in the toolboox. I don''t find it in my Access though.

I could be wrong, but I believe that things being greyed out in AC2003 usually results from running an AC2000 db in AC2003. You can run it in AC2003, but you have to first convert the app to AC2003 before you can make any design changes, hence all of the design tools, controls, etc are not available.

You can definitely make design changes to an Access 2000 database in Access 2003. I do it all the time.

You may be right about some tools being unavailable, though.
