I originally posted this in the miscellaneous section but was advised to repost here in the Windows forum. My problem: I have a 14-month old Toshiba Satellite M55 laptop, running Windows XP Home SP2. About a month ago, my built-in speakers (Harman/Kardon) started to echo. Every sound that now comes from these speakers has an echo to it. This is also true of any external speakers that I attach to my laptop. My computer uses a Realtek AC97 audio device. I have scoured the internet for a solution but have not found anything. I can not find any answers to this problem within any of the help files on my computer either. How do I rid my laptop of this maddening echo?
