our hardware colleague developed a own special kind of keyboard. It is used to start specific task on our computer....

it is not used to input normal text.

In the past 2 or 3 years everything worked well. But now we have a special new use case "Windows 10 with Japanese keyboard layout) .... As far as we investigated the issue, .... we saw that one of the scan codes, which is sent from our own keyboard, is a scan code that is also sent for the Japanese keyboard.

2. Where can I find a good overview of "FREE" scan codes, that are not predefined and which we can use for our own keyboard?

On my first quick attempt to find a good overview, I found no good documents, specifications, etc... of "predefined" and "free" scan codes..... Can someone please tell me links to good, well structured & COMPLETE overviews of such "predfined" and "free" scan codes?
