At the time of publishing i am getting following error..

I tried to invistagate the folder path .. but there is nothing in this folder .. then what it says i am confused .. Can you plese suggest me yo solve this issue .. I also tried to exclude End year Appprasial.aspx page from the projetc but still its not allowing me to publish

Hi,

Please try these steps.

1. Go to the Solution Folder and Right Click -> Properties and change the "Read Only" mode to Off, now folder will be access to write also.

2.Go to the Solution and Clean the Solution, Right Click on Web Application Project -> Click Clean

3.Rignht Click on Web Application  Project -> Click ReBuild 

4.Right Click on Web Application Project and Use Publish Option

5.Publish Settings
     Publish Method: Web Deploy
     Service URL : localhost
     Site/Application: Sample.com

Check the Below Check Box [Both]
     i. Mark as IIS Application on Destination
    ii. Leave Extra Files on Destination [Do not Delete]

6. Click Publish.

The file was deleted from project folder and still history on project solution explorer image folder, when you publish it still refering to that file.
1 - Go to images folder on solution explorer and delete permanently the image with exclamation mark
2 - Rebuild the project
3 - Publish
