hello does anyone know how i could install my firefox plugin offline using that advanced installer program or vb.net? I've looked around finding nothing and thought someone might be able to lend a hand. Thanks in advanced.

If you're writing a legacy extension, you can install it to a predefined directory. The user will be prompted to approve the extension the next time they start Firefox.

Installing extensions - Mozilla | MDN[^]:

... your native tool can initiate the extension installation by copying the extension into a predefined directory on the user's computer. The next time that the toolkit-based application (Firefox) is launched, the user will be asked to approve of the installation, and if the user approves, the extension will be automatically loaded for subsequent launches.

NB: Legacy extensions will no longer work in Firefox 57 or later. FF57 is due to be released on 14th November.

If you've written a WebExtension add-on for Firefox, you will need to submit it to AMO to be signed, and then publish it:

Release versions of Firefox will refuse to install extensions that are not signed by AMO.
