I'm working on a project for school, and I can't figure out how to check a sequence. The parameters are to:
1. Use a For loop display the array in the Listbox. There should be 4 columns of numbers with 25 numbers per column. Also, sum all the numbers in the array. Create a Label in the Form to display this sum.
2. Use another new For loop to perform a Sequence Check of the numbers in the array. A number is Out of Sequence if the current number is greater than the next number.
We were give a sequence of 100 numbers to input, some of which aren't in order, obviously. This is my first programming type class and I don't even know where to begin on this.
What I have tried:
I've been reading my texts and looking for ways to do it all week with no luck. I don't know how to check the sequence and return in the listbox which numbers are out of order. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
