Hi all,
I have a asp.net mvc web application with windows authentication. So, When i am going to host in IIS( In my PC), It says

"401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied."

Further, i can't see Windows authentication feature to enable under program & faturea-->IIS-->WWW services-->Security-->.
Please help me to solve this.

Windows Authentication is not installed by default with certain versions of IIS.
In Windows 7 you need to do the following;
Control Panel >> Add Remove Programs >> Turn Windows Features on or off >> Internet Information Services >> World Wide Web Services >> Security >> Windows Authentication - if it is un-ticked then it is not installed
In Windows Server 2008 you need to do the following;
Server Manager >> Roles >> Add Role Services >> Security >> Windows Authentication will be in the list - if it says it is not installed you need to add it.
