I have a receipt printer that uses the Window 7 Generic text driver. This application is compiled using Delphi Seattle FMX memo fields but the memo field shows three lines of text for instance like an mail address but when printed it wraps the lines instead of formatting them. Is there a font or code to tell it that it has line breaks ?

I did send the output to a text file and when I opened it use wordpad, it was formatted correctly, however, when opened in notepad it wrapped the lines. So, how can I tell the printer that this text file has formatted codes?

What I have tried:

Hex printer codes: larger or smaller text and Bold print. It prints fine on other printer driver like HP Officejet 8600.

By definition, generic printer driver don't format, for the simple reason it don't know your printer.

I would print to a file to see what is send exactly to the printer, then check in documentation what changes you have to make in order to format the output.

We don't have your printer, you are the only one able to find the solution.
