need to find out if project files were copied. is there a way to extract meta data to see who the author of the project is, what computer is was on, when it was created, etc. I see a txt file in obj folder that lists some paths the project was run at but need further properties, if possible.

As mentioned in the comments, no, not really. You can copy files all day long and Windows does not record it so there is no way to know that. But it seems like there may be something else you really want to know.
