Buy a book on c# (or vb.net if you want to go down that route, but I wouldn't). Read it and learn c#, then buy a book on asp.net webforms, or MVC (you might as well learn MVC if you're going to learn web dev) and go through that.

I would say if you really wanna learn something you really need to put your hands on a project. To get your project working you will have to learn a lot. Research a lot. You apply all that you learn. If you have a basic programming knowledge then this method would be really good I think so.
