Hi, guys.
I want to build a news app. Something like News App from Microsoft. How does it work?
What I mean is: I know that for a weather app You need something like API Key to use the service and You have to usually pay for it(depends how often you call the service).
I couldn't find any tutorial and any guide how to start and what knowledge I need to do that? So, I created some sort of list of questions if there is someone out there who knows answers would be good, please.
1. Is RSS reader the same as "news app"? (for me it seems to be different because I have newer seen any pictures on rss reader).
2. What aspects of programming should I learn first, how to consume web services or what? Any link to tutorial would be appreciated? Where Can I learn how "sucking" data
from servers work from basics? (video with examples would be great).
3. How Do I get API from News Websites like BBC,CNN,SKY NEWS etc. (Couldn't find it on the websites).
4. Any clue how much does it cost?
I would be very grateful for any kind of resource that would help me get that kind of knowledge.
