Hi,

Our asp.net application is running on windows server 2003 and we are creating temporary word doc and filling data to that, whenever user requesting for document.initial days it is allowing to create more than one instance of word document but now a days it is not supporting (In task manager Winword.exe process is ending if one winword is in process) and we are using microsoft word document 2007

Please help me out from this issue.

Automating Word from asp.net is not supported as it is a desktop app designed to run in a single user environment. Attempting to automate Word will result in these kinds of problems, but you're doing something the app was never designed for and something Microsoft has said won't work. That's before I even get to the legal issues such as licensing.

If you need to manipulate Word documents from asp.net you will need to use a library suited to it such as the Open XML SDK, or Aspose or DocX.
