I have started to work on an freeware (maybe open source?) project with the working title: RaMoRD - Rename and Mirror or Remove Duplicate files. It uses MD5-hashes to identify duplicates of files for mirroring or removing duplicates.

Currently theres only a first version of a software requirement specification of it. Can I already post an article to get feedback on the software requirements to improve them further? The concept phase is kinda the best time to get feedback.

Depends on the quality of the article! :laugh:

I wouldn't think that an article consisting only of a specification would get through moderation: it isn't of any use to anyone, except you - which means that it would only be seen by the moderators, which is a smaller audience than I think you want.

How about you create a blog and start it with the spec? You could then follow the progress of the development and get feedback at all stages that way. And you can submit blogs here: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/BlogFeed.aspx[^]
