I am working on this project which uses a face detection system. So, i tried the following code pasted by one of the contributors at the following link

The code seems to work fine but it is able to detect only the picture the author has inserted in the code. I tried to add a picture of my own in the same size ratio as the author mentioned but it doesn't work at all. I contacted the author of the forum but i dint receive any reply and now i m stuck because i cant proceed to the next part of my project without fixing this code.

Please help me!!!

This is code has many limitations so i am suggesting you to use Face detection/Recognition API
There are too many API regarding that ,You should check documentantion for that and you will find solution.
