I am currently investigating the use of "Batch Automation" using SOAP in a command line that is sent to the windows software to receive (SOAP) commands from other software mainly for batch automation.

First I used a bunch of times "batch files", and perhaps I am mistaken or mislead by the use of Batch Automation.

Second, I am new to SOAP messages and its protocol (currently reading it online) but does it mean that the template being used has to be inside a webserver or somewhere in the internet? Can this template be an XML file residing within a regular path inside a C drive?

I just added command line arguments to the software, but need some guidance as to how would one approach this scenario?
