I am Raveesh i worked as desktop developer in .net , i created one windows application using .net and uses sql server 2008r2 for db. in my company me used three system and one of them containing sql server 2008 r2.me installed the application in three system it works well. i give the connection line likes this

it succes in my office all the system has windows xp OS.

Problem
i installed the application in my client system but its not work .my client has three system it contains windows 7 operating system ,i installed sqlserver 2008r2 in one system and enabled tcp/ip,named pipes,shared memory,via. and i set the ip for all system. i disabled the windows firewall also am set the sqlserver.exe,sqlbrowser.exe,sqlwriter.exe are run through widows firewall advanced setting->inbound rules->new rules.i set the udp port as 1434 and tcp port as 1433 using it. i give the connection same as above but its not work can any one help me.

Lan connection is used for both.also i checked ping 1n commad prompt so both are rply the connection is well.

Sounds like a rights issue.

On the client try setting up an odbc datasource to your databse and test the connection

Control panel => administrative tools => data source (odbc) => System DSN => Add ... follow click through guide to setup connection

May show you to more detail what the problem is

And do check first that the database you're connecting to has 'allow remote connections' set :)
