I am developing an app that has two phase one is web based on Asp.net and 2nd is android. the android app will fetech data from asp.net database file. I need to know that is Android can work with .mdf database or not? if not then what type of database it will work for both???

Not sure if Android can access MDF files - but it can use SqLite databases (they are the default for Android), and so can your .NET code.
