Posted here Sunday night and the message seemed to be blackholed.

I'm looking for anyone who can explain the exact process for adding a 301 redirect for a page that no longer exists to it's new page/URL.

I have migrated a website with 2 domains from an App Service to a static $web container. The CDN is working but I need to add over 400 redirects.

I've tried a number of ways of entering and defining the 301 in the provided interface but none of them are working. 

Someone else must have successful done this although I can't find any literal examples, more definitions of the various options in the CDN rules interface.

I'm 5 days in on the switch from app service to static $web container and yet to have a working redirect which is killing my indexing/rank.

All the information is here. Example OLD website URL www.mydomain.com/category/oldpage redirect to www.mydomain.com/en/category/newDifferentPageandPath

So how would this be entered? Does the CDN Rules redirect work on the $web container without page file extensions?

Hi, 

I see this thread seems to be duplicate of this thread. 

The rules would have to be implemented one by one into the portal, but one thing we can do is expedite the rule approval process with AppSupport so we are left with only propagation times. 

So we can get some tests in the account, here's some documentation covering redirects - https://docs.vdms.com/cdn/re3/#HTTP_Rules_Engine/URL_Redirect.htm?Highlight=redirect

I see you have raised a support ticket - 119052224000672 and you are working with Support engineers. The above link has general guidelines on creating a redirection rule.
