We are planning to extract on-prem SQL Server data to ADLS. The purpose is for doing analytics on this data. I was going through blogs online regarding migrating data from on-prem to ADLS, I understand from it that we will have to create a self-hosted Integration Runtime for the same. But I was wondering how do we handle failover or error in Integration runtime. Say for example, while transmitting the data there is a network failure, data will be lost in this case. So how do we handle this kind of scenario.

To handle such transient network issues, you can specify the activity retry policy so that retry would happen and can make the copy succeed at last.
