Whilst you wait, why not download UCMA 4 and get started? There are no new features announced for UCMA 5, and anything you write with UCMA 4 should work just fine with Skype for Business.

You'll need a Lync 2013 application server, not a Skype for Business application server, but once UCMA 5 is available you can always upgrade your project and get rid of the 2013 server.
