Hi,

I have to move my VMs from one subscription to another since my organization procured a new subscription. Unfortunately the subscriptions have  different tenant ID.

Moving the VM is not allowed since tenant IDs are different. I tried to take snapshot and move the snapshot to the new subscription. But I got the error- LinkedAuthorizationFailed

Could anyone help with any other option?

Hi, 

This cannot be achieved. In order to move, you need to delete your VM, move the VHD to the new Storage account in another subscription using AzCopy. Then Re-create your VM in the other subscription.
