I am wondering if someone can suggest me how we can modify the mapping value in Data Factory V2  while copying a data from Source cosmos to target cosmos SQL API. I want to detach one of the source field mapping to target field mapping  and rather pass a HardCoded value for it and also I want to search and replace a value for one of the field in mapping step .

There is no native support for modifying one/several columns in column mapping. Except you're copying data into sql store supporting stored procedure, you could invoke a stored procedure script from sql sink side to do this kind of customized mapping.
