i m using windows 7 64bit and i want to solution for 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine this error. this error will be happening, when i installed "ESSL eTimeTrackLite" software.
but i already download that particular file. It didn't work.
kindly requesting to u all give me one solution pleas....

There is no actual solution: you are using a 64 bit machine, and there is no 64 bit version of JET. You need to use ACE instead, which comes in both 32 and 64 bit versions.

You can set you application to build in 32 bit mode instead of "Any CPU" which will let you use the 32 bit JET driver, but that is the only "solution": Microsoft have no plans to produce a 64 bit JET driver.
