I have an existing model.bim created and I have to point the workspace database to the new model in the SSAS instance. It is greyed out and I though if I change it in solution properties it will update?

Hi VilenVmo,

As I know, the name of the workspace database. This property cannot be edited when Integrated Workspace Mode is True. You need check whether you use Integrated Workspace. You could refer to Workspace database for details.

当您在SSDT中打开相应的服务器工作区项目时，您可能会在SSMS。或者如果要将其部署到新数据库，可以尝试更改"项目属性"中的名称以查看它是否有效。

This seems appear when you open corresponding server workspace project in SSDT, you might could change this in SSMS. Or If you want to deploy this to new database, you could try to change name in Project Properties to see whether it work or not.
