I create a virtual machine scale set with 2 VMs in the Azure portal, as the pic shows below, I add 2 data disks, however, connect to VMs via RDC, I cannot find these 2 new data disks in these 2 VMs.

Hi Lcey, 

您已在VMSS级别添加了数据磁盘，您需要更新每个实例以使其列出。

You have added the data disk at the VMSS level and you need to update each instance to get it listed.

您可以使用以下要更新的PoswerShell命令。 

You can use the below PoswerShell command to update. 

Update-AzVmssInstance -ResourceGroupName "myResourceGroup" -VMScaleSetName "myScaleSet" -InstanceId instanceId

然后，当您调整大小时，您需要再次更新以使现有的VMSS实例调整大小。新创建的内容会自动更新。 

Then when you resize, again you need to update to get the existing VMSS instance to resize. Newly created will automatically gets updated size.
