Dear MS,

I had installed SQL server 2014 on my laptop for Automation purpose but due to some reason I had to uninstalled the SQL server 2014. Unfortunately I did this practice three times (installing -uninstalling) hence got nothing at last. I need SQL server 2014 for Automation Anywhere (tool) to automate my project.

Eventually still I am facing to uninstall SQL server 2014 so that I can re-installed SQL server properly.

Now I have been uninstall SQL service 2014 in my laptop through control panel but there is one file still present in control panel which I am unable to uninstall it because it gives me below error.

"Warning 26003. Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Setup Support Files cannot be uninstalled because the following products are installed:

SQL Server 2014 Common Files

SQL Server 2014 Management Studio

SQL Server 2014 Client Tools

Hence Kindly assist me on above error so that I can finally install SQL server again and will use in my automation project.

I would advise you to do this only if you have done before or seek microsoft assitance for same:

You can locate this registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall, and find the GUID related to SQL Server components, , then use msiexec /x "{guid}" command to uninstall these components. For more detailed steps, you can review the following similar blogs.
