  Uri.fromParts("mailto", "[e-mail]", null));
intent4.setDataAndType(Uri.parse("file://"+ mTempFilePath),
  Bitmap.CompressFormat.JPEG.name());    
startActivity(intent4);

Did you try setting the mime manually to "image/jpeg" instead of Bitmap.CompressFormat.JPEG.name().
