Recently Report Builder 3.0 (build 15.0.900.71) has started becoming unresponsive when previewing a report after editing certain properties (eg changing a textbox background/font colour; setting an interactive sort). Sometimes the application recovers after a couple of minutes, other times an out of memory exception is thrown. No other changes have been made to the report; and the report can be saved and run on the report server without any problem.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Report Builder 3.0 on my work PC a number of times and the problem still occurs. I've also been able to replicate this on a different computer where Report Builder has never been installed previously, and also on my PC at home.

Since the version of Report Builder in question dates from the 9th May 2018, it seems likely that a recent update to Windows/SQL Server has broken something.
