There is no hourly limitations from however there are limitations to delivery rates imposed by recipient mail servers. For example if you are try sending all 40,000 emails to @jojo.com from your email ID and if Jojo.com limit sent to receive 20,000 emails at a shot them you will run into issue . Exceeding these limitations results in a practice referred to as throttling. Throttling in terms of email means that a recipient mail server has accepted all the mail it is willing to accept from your IP for a certain period of time.
