Hi experts,

We would like to share a folder in sharepoint 2010. We are requested to set an auto alert feature if anyone add/edit the files in this folder. 

We have read the document below. It seems auto alert can be enabled by a specified file/folder, may I know if we could assign the alert setting to all files in a folder?

Hi

I don't have SP 2010 environment, so I test it in my Online Site.

It works so please try to set it in your SP 2010 document library.

Check the folder you want to set alert, and press "Alert me" on the ribbon.
