I have windows iot booting on a raspberry pi 3b+. I would like to add a uwp application into the .ffu disc image that the raspberry pi boots from. In order to do this, I think I need a 64bit raspberry pi BSP, which I have not been able to find.I get an error telling me the raspberry pi bsp i downloaded (following the microsoft tutorial on creating ffu images) is not 64 bit, and wont work with a 64 bit iot workspace/project.

Does microsoft offer a 64bit raspberry pi BSP with which I could build a .ffu file and test on my raspberry pi?

Is there another way to add a uwp application (via appx package) to an existing .ffu file? I ask because I have a booting ffu file that has the wifi and bluetooth drivers removed, so the booting time is reduced to about 10 seconds - which is a property I would like to keep.

How can I build my own raspberry bsp files? Is there a guide on how to do that? I feel like I'm missing something simple.

I just want to run my uwp applications on windows iot on my raspberry pi.

You can find the BSP for customizing Raspberry Pi 2, 3, and Compute Module on GitHub. You can see that Raspberry Pi 3B is 64 bit CPU (BCM2837). So this BSP is working for 64 bit.

For Raspberry Pi you need select ARM instead of 64/x86/ARM64. Refer to "Lab 1a: Create a basic image".

But for Raspberry Pi 3B+, there is only a preview version 17661 expected to supported. So customizing image may not work for 3B+.

If you are going to add a UWP app online you can via Windows Device Portal or provisioning package from WCD. Detailed steps please refer to "Install your app on an IoT Core device".
