Hi , 

    We have been facing issue in cloning the repositories , git pull and git push with HTTPS Authenticaiton mechanism. It worked fine for weeks and months , we were able to genereate git credentials and pull , push and clone . After few days HTTPS mechanism stopped working it shows authenticaiton failer though we give correct credentials , we cannot pull,push,clone our repositories it happend all of sudden after successful days , we tried doing re-generate credentials and do git pull or push or clone , it promts failed authentication though new correct credentials are given. Now we are working to use Token based authenticaiton mechanism. 

  Q. May i know what could be the issue with HTTPS authentication mechanism ? , and why it stopped working suddenly ? Please help me with the issue , it would great help to me.Thank you
