an image in a C(150) field can't be an image. Best of all it is a Path/Filename as a reference to an image file somewhere on your system.

Now it will depend on how you access your table.

In case of a SELECT statement you can check for each record if the file exists and if not replace the cursors column value with a reference to the 'sorry, not available' pic.
