By default, the scripts created under under visual studio are created as unicode utf-8 codepage 65001.  It seems my accents and special characters get misinterpreted unless I change the encoding to "Unicode - codepage 1200".

Rather than changing the files one by one and having to communicate and enforce the encoding to use on an individual file basis, is there a way to ensure new files created under a project have a specified default encoding?  i.e. can I specify a default encoding to use for files created by a project?
