I tried to install WordPress using the Web App Gallery and it was done successfully. However, upon launching the newly created site, it prompted me for a username and password at :80. To solve this, I went to IIS > Authentication > Anonymous Authentication. By default, it is set to domaincom_web user. To solve this, I have to manually set to to "Application Pool" identity.
