Hi,

I'm trying  to install Microsoft R client on both Windows 7 64 bit and WIN2012 R2 64 bit. But I have this issue (it stops when it tries to download Microsoft R Open, I did not flag R Tools for visual studio).

I’m behind an http proxy that requires authentication and I tried to circumvent it using this http://ntlmaps.sourceforge.net/ (as I do for a variety of services that do not support ntlm authentication e.g. dropbox ) but it does not work either.

Has anybody found the same issue?

We had to install Microsoft R Open as a first step before installing any other R applications.
