Hello, 

I'm very new to Visual Studios and programming in general and I'm attempting to make a login form just for fun and practice.
I've looked at many videos and forums to try and get some help but I haven't really found much that helps, most videos are being done on Visual Basics and they are using local Databases which doesn't help (I have a cloud MySQL Database) or they just aren't descriptive enough for me to understand exactly what it is I'm doing. 

I have set up the labels, text boxes and the buttons I want. 

I would like the form to check the database for the Username & Password and also check the connection with the click of a button.

Could anyone help me understand what it is I need to do?
