Stop using IE 6.. it is no longer supported, nor is XP. period.... there is no longer security updates nor an upgrade path for IE6. windows updates for XP have been discontinued except for enterprise customers.

Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, uncheck "Enable third party browser extensins".

On XP reboot your computer for the changes to take affect.
