I am using a remote machine and I had set the proxy in in the Internet Explorer.

While i am using my Windows phone 8 Emulator, internet is not getting connected. I can't say emulator is not completely connected to the internet. But Emulator is not connecting to the internet very frequently so to connect to the internet i have to wait for more then 10 mins then i am closing and reopening the emulator multiple times.

This sounds like it may be an issue with your proxy.  You can inspect the network traffic and confirm this.  I frequently use a proxy like Fiddler to diagnose issues and don't run into this problem.  Do you close the emulator when you make the change to your network settings?  Does the Internet Explorer browser connect in these situations?
