I use a USB DVD Drive to load the new windows Server 2012 Installer. (That means the USB ports ARE working)

As soon as the server Installer loads I loose all usability of them. Can't Use Mouse and can't use USB Pens (Which have my drivers on).

I need to install drivers for my Disk Array to be visible to the OS. So because I can't use my USB pen to install the drivers I can't install the OS at all.

Having the same problem with Server 2012 on an HP DL385. Have you heard of a resolution? A workaround? Anything? Received 6 of these as a donation for non-profits but without working USB ports the non-profits won't be able to attach external USB drives for backups.
