According to the docs, this property "gets or sets a value that determines whether the suggested search query is activated when the user presses Enter". It defaults to false.

Well, apparently I'm being dumb (again). What's the difference between "activated" and "submitted"? Because whether I set this property to true or false, if I press Enter while the SearchBox text has focus, or press Enter when I've cursored down to one of the suggestions, the QuerySubmitted event is triggered and I go to the search results page.

So does anybody know what, exactly, this property controls? It's clearly not what I expect it to control....

I cannot look into this in detail over the weekend, but I'd guess it to control the behaviour when the SearchBox doesn't have focus.
