i was following this guide https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/dn916104%28v=vs.85%29.aspx and i get stuck where it says select Windows pre-installed OS kit,

Can you provide some more details? Have you installed the latest pre-release set up for Windows for IoT from WindowsOnDevices.Com? What board are you targeting? (The two currently supported boards are Raspberry Pi2 & Minnow Board Max).

Update: Follow the steps at http://ms-iot.github.io/content/GetStarted.htm to get the OS Kit by choosing the board/chipset you would like to target.
