Hello All,

I am new to windows and I need some info on how to write a driver for Embedded Controller which has custom defined interfaces in it.

It includes for example keyboard , ON/OFF control.
As of now Microsoft driver is loaded for the Embedded controller so is it possible to load my own driver to control the custom defined interfaces.
I heard that Microsoft does not recommend (Starting from Vista and above) to write driver for Embedded controller.
Can anyone help me with this regard.

If you are writing a driver for Windows XP, then yes, you shouldn't start with Vista or higher. This forum is for building WES2009/XP Embedded images.
