All,
Struggling to understand why WP8 does not have an option for Static IP addressing.
I don't really want to turn to DHCP on my router, as all my other kit, PC's, Android, iPhone all have static addresses. I prefer it this way.
Would it be a massive project to add the option for Static IP? Could it be done?
Any help or hints greatly appreciated.

Due to my knowledge this is not possible right now.

What you might want to try is to limit the DHCP IP address range on your router.
When all your other devices use static addresses the WP should mike up "one" of the left ones.
