The webpage I would like to open in my application with MFC CHtmlview did not support IE7 or IE8 compatibility mode. 

Is there anyway to make CHTMLview runing under standard mode? I also tried the method stated in the IE develper tech blog with adding the regisiter key, but it does not work :



To run a WebBrowser control in IE8 Standards Mode, use the following new value into the registry:

[(HKEY_CURRENT_USER or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE)\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION]

"MyApplication.exe" = dword 8000 (Hex: 0x1F40)
