I have been building images using the IBW and they work ok but were not Customised as we like and there were Driver issues with Certian Hardware we work with. So we have switched to the ICE (and use the Windows EMbeded Developer Update to update the DSs). The cycle time for building and testing is much less however I have now run into an issue. All the devices in the computer work except the Audio Devices. There are 2 audio devices, a Realtek Audio on the Motherboard and an AMD HDMI HD Audio (part of the video card). I have tried multiple driver versions, Even the non-OEM versions, for each but no matter what I try I end of with a red X on the speaker in the system tray. Then when I look in the device manager I see all sound devices have the yellow ! and the error "Windows cannot load the device Driver for this hardware….. Code 39" I have looked up this error and tried the various options for solving it but no luck so far. So I looked in the System log under the event viewer and I see an error. Kernel-PNP event ID 219 "the driver \driver\...... failed to load" and I see this error for both audio drivers followed by a UserPnP 20001 cause the driver install process was complete.

I assume this mean there is a missing component but I have not been able to figure out which one.

I forgot to mention, these drivers work perfectly if I do a full install using the IBW or if I use Windows 7 pro.
