Hello, I obtained a Windows Embedded 8 key through MSDN as a student member of IEEE. I downloaded the iso using the secure download manager, installed via USB, it prompted me for a product key and I entered the one I was supplied, and then it told me I was installing an evaluation only copy. I activated the installation after it was complete but it says my key is only valid for 180 days.

Nowhere does it mention that the key I have is only for evaluation, and from what I've read the evaluation copies don't even ask for a key. Can anyone tell me what's gone wrong?

Edit: Also, this is on a brand new hard drive and I installed via USB by using the Windows 7 tool to mount the image on a flash drive
